What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that at his second coming there will be the resurrection of believers who die before His return and the catching up of those believers who are alive at his return. We further believe that those believers will be gathered together with Christ and each other and that they will all remain together for eternity in a world where there is no more sorrow, no more hurt, no more pain, no more death, and no more evil.

We believe that salvation is attained solely by grace through faith.

We believe that, as a result of the redemption we have in Christ, God, by his divine power, has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.  We further believe that all things include all things that pertain to our biopsychosocial and spiritual needs.  

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is by the blood of Jesus Christ in response to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. 

We believe that being born again is absolutely necessary for entering the kingdom of God.  

We believe that, for the believer, the Bible contains the Guiding Principles by which we should live. Consequently, We further believe that every believer should approach the whole of life with a biblical worldview and therefore, their choices, decisions, actions, behaviors, conduct, attitudes, and dispositions should be consistent with a biblical worldview.

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who, ask for Him, seek Him, welcome Him, or those who otherwise seek to be baptized by Him.

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. We further believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ will occur at a time set by God and known only by Him.

We believe that one must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God in order to be saved. We further believe that faith in Jesus includes believing that he was God incarnated, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, rose from the dead, and will return at the end of the world.  

We believe that being baptized with the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for experiencing the supernatural power of God, in, upon, and through the life of the believer.  We believe that it is the will of God for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God expects every believer to live a life characterized by sanctification, holiness, godliness, and righteousness that is consistent with the teaching of scripture. 

We believe that the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit enables believers to live a life of godliness and sanctification, holiness, and righteousness in this present world in such a way that he could not do otherwise.
